PROFILE
Background
Originally I was a Physics teacher at Grammar and Comprehensive schools at Warrington, Prescot, Widnes and Lowton, (Nr Leigh) until I retired for the first time.
I
played hockey in goal for Warrington Sports Club for many years and later qualified to umpire County matches. I also ran a Badminton Club at Grappenhall Village Hall, Nr. Warrington and I have played golf at Lymm Golf Club for nearly 40 years.
At my
last job I was self-employed for many more years running my own Gardening and DIY business before finally retiring for good.
Regarding dog sports Anne and I looked into doing some more besides obedience and at first took part in courses for flyball
and agility at Wilmslow DC with Doreen’s Northern Bytes, before we set up Live Wires at Grappenhall Sports Club in 2001 where previously we’d both been keen members of a hockey club.
